Charles’ impressive career as a professional huntsman spans four decades with Whiskey Road, Live Oak, and Bull Run. His depth of experience and knowledge is a great asset to The Mells. He is a huntsman's huntsman and a scholar of all things hounds and hunting.
Boo began her hunting career with The Mells when she was a student at Sewanee, and went on to whip in professionally to Whitworth-Hardaway, Midland, Live Oak, and Bull Run. A consummate horsewoman and hound mom, we are so pleased that she has returned home to The Mells.
Clare began hunting at the tender age of 6 weeks in her mum's arms at South Wold hunt in Lincolnshire. She has been a whipper in for Full Cry and Cedar Knob where she went on to become huntsman. She graduated from the MFHA Professional Development Program in 2018, and was honored to be the Huntsman for the Belle Meade Performance Trials in 2021.

Genevieve started riding at the age of 5 and rode in a variety of disciplines. She started hunting at 16 with Tanheath Hunt and fell in love with the sport. After two seasons hunting with Tanheath one of the masters recommended Genevieve start whipping in, as well as enroll in the MFHAs Professional Development Program. Genevieve joined Mells as a whip in 2021.
